With the little ready made bottles in the starter pack do you just give them at room temp ? Or do you need to warm them and if so does the hospital just give you some hot water ?

Do babies need milk immediately when born or can you wait a little while?

I’ll be having a c section with GA, so trying to think will I need to sort this out and dh will need to feed baby while I’m still under ? What happens ? Tia x

I had a section and fed my baby in recovery, which was about an hour after birth (shouldn't have taken that long but I had complications).
I initially breastfed but also had issues with that so the next day the hospital gave me one of the ready made bottles. You don't need to warm them, just pop the teat on top and give it to the baby,
Good luck x

My DS's first bottle was room temp.
After that I went to the bottle bay to get some hot water and a bottle as it has to be kept in the fridge and didn't want him to have it cold.

Thankyou ! I just wasn’t sure if it had to be warmed to a certain temp or not probably a silly question but i wasn’t sure !! Room temp will be much easier Thankyou x

If using at room temp you'll have to use a new bottle of milk each time. They last 24 hours in the fridge.
