Help getting breastfed baby onto sippy cup

Hello,
my LO is nearly 6 months and is exclusively breastfed. She did take a bottle of expressed milk at about three weeks for a couple of weeks, then totally refused. About a week before Christmas we decide to try again (having not even tried for almost 2 months due to it getting so stressful), and decided to skip the bottle and go straight to sippy cup. I got a transition one with a soft spout, and I’m thrilled that she’s been happy to have a go - she loves the handle so automatically takes it to her mouth (with a bit of steering) if it’s put in her hand. However she is only drinking 30-50ml at most, and she spends a lot of time biting the teat and a lot dribbles out of her mouth and down her chin. Any tips for getting her used to it or is it just practice? I’m going back to work at the end of January and my partner is taking his half of the SPL so ideally she really needs to be able to take it! (We’ve also just started solids this week but obviously that’s a slow process).

I should add we’ve tried all the usual - me not being there, feeding somewhere different etc. The problem is not her not taking it, just the amount and how much she dribbles out.

It's just practice. You could also try an open cup.

Have you tried a Doidy cup? They often do better with them
