Hey everyone my 5 week old has bad trapprd wind. Hv said it is prpbably colic. Ive been giving het infacol which on nhs website says no more than 6 times a day. But i got advised to give it before every feed, but she breastfeeds way more than 6 times a day? Is infacol the best for colic? Anyone else had any succese with anything else? Also when you keep them upright after food how should i hold her?

Colicalm. I tried them all and honestly that stuff is magic

Infacol was great stuff for us but if it's not working I'd get her checked out for silent reflux. A friend had her baby around the same time as me and hers was diagnosed with this, given gaviscon and was a totally different (more more chilled out and happy because she was no longer in pain) baby afterwards.

We tried infacol, didn't do much. Colief has helped alot but not totally. He just won't bring up wind at all so gets bellyache and screams alot. DD had reflux but think DS is just colic/trapped wind atm

Infacol didn’t help my DD. Gripe water or dentinox was much better but didn’t fix the issue completely. Tiger in the tree hold worked wonders too!
