I bf ds as soon as he asks for it "Moo moo!" after he wakes up. Usually as soon as he comes into my bed. Before nappy change and before my breakfast.

ocomeALLYebabies · 21/12/2007 08:46

feed in bed straight away, then get up for a cup of tea etc.

cmotdibbler · 21/12/2007 08:55

Straight back into our bed when DS wakes up and he's usually latched on as we touch the bed. Through his phases of serious drinking, then rolly round drinking, then in the bed, out the bed, nurse, kiss daddy etc.
Then we all get up, have breakfast etc

my dd wakes at 6am for a feed and has one straight away. Then dh takes both girls downstairs to get ready for school (well dd1 that is not my 12 week old) and get himself ready for work. She then has another feed before we leave for school about 8am

ElfPolarBear · 21/12/2007 09:57

just before i open my eyes

kittenbaby · 21/12/2007 10:08

yep also feed dd straight away too x

Haylstones · 21/12/2007 10:11

Get out of bed to feed- no way! I always fed dd as soon as she woke up as there was always that small chance she would go back to sleep...

DS3 hasn't wanted a feed yet (which is why my boobs are starting to get a bit Jordan-esque ) but he did have one at about 4am so probably doesn't need one yet zzzzzzzz

DanJARMouse · 21/12/2007 10:23

straight into bed to feed

YummyMam · 21/12/2007 10:29

As soon as I go into her (when the noises become frantic - she will usually talk to herself for a few minutes). She wants feeding as soon as she sees me. Nappy and anything else has to wait. (She's also 6 months)

Brangelina · 21/12/2007 10:42

Yep, first bfeed in bed here too. that way I manage to get another half hour or so of sleep. When she was younger she used to feed all morning, so I basically stayed in bed until 11am. Brilliant.

I can usually get up, put ds in his bouncy chair while I make a cup of tea and some toast, often he'll let me eat it before I feed him, but if he's hungry I'll have my toast while I'm bfing... poor love gets covered in crumbs and drips of butter !!

mawbroonGotRunOverByAReindeer · 21/12/2007 15:39

DS is 2.2 and we still feedin bed together first thing. I've just converted his cot/bed to a toddler bed, so now he can trot through and get the milk himself

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 21/12/2007 18:07

I can just about change her nappy before she gets impatient! But then she usually sleeps 10 or 11 hours so is starving marvin by the time she wakes up!
