Carobel help

My DD is suffering with reflux and is on Omeprazole and infant gavsicon. Since she is wanting more per feed the Gaviscon doesn't seem to be thickening her milk enough anymore so we are going to try Carobel. How do I prepare it please? We have a perfect prep machine so do I put it in after the hot shot with the formula powder? And then add the cold?

Also can I use it with ready made carton formula when we are on a day out?

use the carobel after the milk has been prepared. Pop 1 scoop to try at first (we ended up doing 1 scoop per 100ml)
Shake it up and leave for 5 minutes for it to thicken.
Fine to use it with ready made but you may need a little more as ready made is thinner.

Oooh also a bit of heat helps with thickening so get a cup of hot water if you're out and about.
