just wondering what others' experiences have been.
ds stopped feeding during the night about a month ago, and tends to have a feed when he wakes (6.30), 10, 2 and 6.30 (bedtime). Biggest feeds are morning and bedtime, some of the daytime ones are tiny (when I'm at work he gets ebm and I've been shocked to find he will only take 2-3 oz some days).
Apart from that he eats some solids, mixture of finger foods and mushed-up stuff.
Does this sound normal? Should I be worried about the small daytime feeds? I've heard that up to a year, babies should have around 20oz in 24 hours. Obv I can't tell how much he takes from the boob, but that sounds like a lot to me!

ds2 is 10m and bfeeds morning, lunch and bedtime. Lunch is variable - sometimes long, sometimes refuses. If he's unwell he might feed at night. ds1 was the same, and he dropped the lunch feed at 11m. I often worry he isn't getting enough bmilk, but he is healthy and happy and growing fine. I guess he's efficient at getting what he needs from me. HTH

spink my ds at 10 mths had a morn and even feed, that was it, wasnt pushed on daytime

i completelyt ignore that recommendation of milk intake. is he a happy chunky baby, sounds like he eats well so i guess his nutritional intake is pretty good

thanks, your messages make me feel a lot better.. I DO know he is ok really, lots of energy and tho he isn't a chubby baby any more, he is not skinny. Think it is just since going back to work and seeing how few ozs he has during the day that worried me
