Tips for dropping a feed

Ds2 is turning 1 in a couple of weeks and I'm going back to work in 6 weeks.
I need him to drop his middle of the day feed before I'm back at work and I'll also need to swap his breakfast & breastfeed times round in the morning.
Some tips would be good. This is his current feeding routine approx and below what I'd like to work towards. Is he likely to drop the afternoon feed by himself or will I have to stop it myself? I'm only going back 3 days a week, can I feed him in the middle of the day on my days off or will that be upsetting for him when I'm not there?

6.30am Breakfast
8.30am Breastfeed
9.30am Nap
10.30am Wake
11.30am Lunch
1.30pm Breastfeed
2.00pm Nap
3.30pm Wake
5.00pm Dinner
6.30pm Small supper
6.45pm Bath, Breastfeed & bed
7.30pm Asleep

Ideally I'd like

6.30am Breastfeed
8.30am Breakfast
11.30am Lunch
1.30pm What do I replace the feed with? Cows milk or a snack?
5.00pm Dinner
6.30pm Small supper
6.45pm Bath, breastfeed & bed
7.30pm Asleep

Just go back to work. When you’re with him breastfeed him as much as he wants. When you’re at work he can drink water, cows milk or expressed breastmilk. Don’t be surprised if he starts waking for night feeds once you’re back at work.

There’s no point planning in advance what his feeding routine will be when you’re at work - his routines may change completely once you’re at work and there’s no way of knowing what he’ll be like until you go back.
