is there any preperations to bf

i am 32 weeks pg and i have started to notice small dry patches on my nipples. i really want to breast feed and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how i might prepare for it to give myself the best possible chance ( thats if there is anything i can do)

I'm not sure there is any standard advice to physically prepare nipples, if that's what you meant but if you buy a tube of Lansinoh now, it might help moisturise them a bit if they're dry, and should last till you start and be helpful then if they end up a bit sore.

I reckon just watching this list, having a look at Hunker's blog (will dig out link for you) and asking any questions you might have and (while remembering that most women don't have ANY problems BF at all) knowing what the common concerns and problems are beforehand so you can be forewarned, is the best preparation.
