Cheeky I know, but its very expensive. I am almost out of the ones from expressyourselfmums.com and at £18 for 60, its working out a lot of money.

TIA.

do they work..i take it its for increasing milk supply..? i was after some the other day but no luck

fishie · 09/12/2007 21:31

sgk do you find it makes an improvement to supply? it didn't to me at all, whereas domperidone stuff did a bit, could you get htat on prescription? also oats may be old wife tale but wouldn't do any harm to try.

bambi06 · 09/12/2007 21:31

how many do you take per day?

Davidsmom · 09/12/2007 21:32

Hi
I got 100 Solgar ones for £9.50 at local organic store.

Not sure they have helped much- how many do you take?
Any more than 2 3x a day makes me hard to live with wind wise.

PortAndLemonaid · 09/12/2007 21:34

I have all bar a few days of a jar left that you could have free -- it gave me and DS the squits (unusual but not unheard-of side effect) so I gave up on it.

sparklygothkat · 09/12/2007 21:34

not sure as i had a good supply anyway, but because of callum's weight gain problems, i started on them just to see if it made a difference. i take 4 a day

OK, I'll CAT you to get your address...

foxythesnowman · 09/12/2007 21:44

Holland & barrett do them too.

Just to mention, someone suggested to me that I might have a candida infection in my stomach preventing absorbtion of nutrients and causing slow-weight gain in my lo. She suggested taking 'good bacteria' tablets (Sorry, I can't remember the name - but its the same stuff in live yogurts) - she recommended the Solgar brand. Also taking Neals Yard 'Beauty Oil' as it contains essential fatty acids which is meant to help. And More Milk Plus from Breastfeeding Heaven.

I know you didn't ask, but I thought I'd pass on what I found, because my lo is piling it in now, so somethings made a difference! Hope you don't mind

sparklygothkat · 09/12/2007 21:47

I am taking the more milk plus, but its very expensive.

Sparkly, I remembered I had some leftover from dd's time (about a weeks' supply from Good 'N' Natural) but just checked and they are rather out-of-date. CAT me if you would still like me to post them over.

pooter · 09/12/2007 22:18
