Should bf ds be weaned onto bottle or cup for nursery?

DS will be starting nursery in the new year when he will be 11 months old. He takes water from a lidded, non-valved beaker (well, he drinks some of it, and dribbles quite a lot of it back out) but hasn't drunk from a bottle before (he's bf). At the moment he's still having a couple of bfeeds during the day and I wasn't sure whether (because of his age) it was worth trying to get him to drink from a bottle during the middle of the day, or whether to skip bottles entirely and try to get him to drink milk from a beaker instead? Does anyone else have any experience of this?

I would go for a beaker rather than a bottle as if you were bottle feeding you are supposed to get them off it by the age of 1 anyway. It saves you getting your lo used to the bottle and then stopping it again.
