Title says it all really.

Have tried looking on the packet, but it's bugger all use...

Have stonking fluey type thing with hacking cough - we all have it, and in anticipatoin of being up all night (again...) I thought I'd cave and have some meds... Then I remembered I should check...

Anyone know?

Do you mean the sweet thingies?

If you do, tbh I don't think there is anything medicinal in Halls Soothers and if I remember correctly you can only eat about 6 packets a day so you should be OK!

they are fine, as are the antiseptic throat lozenges you can get.... i asked the pharmacist when i was pg if they were suitable for pg and bf!

Can I just empathise with you silverfrog as i have been in my bed for the past 3 days with a similar thing.

I took some Strepsils, hadn't even crossed my mind that they might not be suitable to take while bfing . Does anyone know?

they're sweets, you can snort them if you like!!!!!!!

Just wanted to be sure I wasn't muddling them up with some sachet of powder thing that is full of drugs, before I said anywthing. There isn't much in them to cause any harm, they just make your throat feel better by lubricating it.

But you are right - it says nothing on the packet. I think, in the old days, they really did say don't take more than 6 packets in 24 hours but, honestly, who would want to?!

I don't know about snorting them but you could stick one up each nostril - it would stop your nose running.

I hope you are feeling better soon.
