How much to give for dreamfeed?

My DS is 10 weeks and I'm expressing once a day so DP can give dreamfeed at night while I catch up on some sleep But I just wondered if there were any guidelines on how much EBM DS should be getting? At the moment he gets around 4 fluid ounzes (sp?) but I don't know if I should be expressing more for him?

You can only go on what he needs. If he's draining the bottle each time i would just express a little more each day until he is leaving some milk at the end of the dream feed. Hope that makes sense.

One of my babies would take 2oz at dream feed and sleep until 6am, another would take 6oz and sleep until nearer 7am.

as nannynz says, if he is draining the bottle....increase by 1/2 oz to an oz at a time til he stops . my ds regularly takes 5 to 6 fl. oz at dreamfeed but only just (and has been that way for 5/6 weeks - he is 13 weeks).

Thanks Nanny and Dal - I guess that makes sense there's just no set rules for babies lol
