OK, so after the discussion about giving EBM to older weaned children, I sneaked some into my 3 year old this morning, who has had a nasty something or other all week involving high temperatures, sore mouth (and he's already HAD hand foot and mouth) clinginess. Still a bit whingy and 'can I sit on your knee?' this morning.
I had a frozen cup of EBM in't freezer so whipped it out and knocked up a chocolate milk with it (I'm a proper Martha Stewart, me... ). And he glugged it down (Muwhaha...) and said 'Mum, this tastes like strawberries!' (WTF )
Anyhow, since then has been jumping around like a fool, back to his usual high octane self and his cheeks look pink for the first time in 10 days...
Surely not the EBM doing it's magic so quick? Haha, I'm going to believe it is even if he just got better normally this morning... Now for the 8 year old...
