Formula fed newborn feeding every 1.5 hours.

Hi everyone.

My just over 1 week old newborn is formula fed and taking 2oz feeds every 1.5 hours. She is my second baby. My first baby went every 3-4 hours between feeds. I'm just wondering if the 1.5 hours is okay. I mean she obviously needs it! I tried to give her 3oz instead to see if she'd want more but she doesn't or if she does have the 3oz it makes her sick. I'm just worried she isn't getting satisfied and that's why she's only going 1. 5 hours between feeds. Is anyone else's newborn doing this? I am happy to lead by her just hope she is okay and getting what she needs.

Go with what lo wants. My LO feed 2 hourly for a while at newborn age. She settled down after a while x

There's a thing called catching up after birth, some babies move up a centile abs then stay there. It can go the other way as well, my DD was on a high centile, dropped one and then had just stayed there ever since.
