How long can 6.5 month old go without formula

Morning

My LO has a bottle about 630/645pm. Usually will have the rest left as she's going to bed about 7/730pm or at least 30mls. Obviously some nights she won't have any as a top up before sleep - it's up to her.

She doesn't normally drop off straight away. I still put her in her cot after cuddles and singing and she looks around and chills before going sleep. Only shouts when she's lost dummy. I would say normally goes sleep about 730/8pm. But can differ etc.

She wakes a couple times a night for dummy. She woke at 530am 😴 for her dummy and went back off to sleep. She only woke up cause I woke her at 7am 😬😬😳😳 i recently changed to feeding her about 30/35mins after waking up as she will not take a full feed as soon as she wakes. After 30/45 mins she will have between 6 to 8 oz. Then about 30 to 45 mins later has porridge with cows milk(she's shouts at me for this 😂) . With some fruit puree in it, keeps her regular (and impressed changed to normal porridge today (not ready brek we chose quaker 💯 oats) and she literally inhaled it compared to baby one)

My question is do I wake her at 7am 😂 or do I let her sleep. As having last feed at 630pm/7pm going through to 730am I think is almost a touch too long. if I let her carry on sleeping am I making a mistake? As if she slept longer does that mean she be going to long without a feed? As she doesn't have until shes been awake 30 mins....

Advice please 😁

At that age I think its fine to leave her until she let's you know she's hungry

Pickle2021 · 22/09/2021 10:50

So you feel if she's asleep at 7am to leave her? But then does that mess up the naps day? And feeds?

When I go back to work she will need to be up at 7am

How long is till you go back to work?

Pickle2021 · 23/09/2021 20:31

April 😂 I was told that to keep it consistent throughout everyday of the year 😂

If it's 6 months till she goes to Nursery, I really wouldn't worry about having her in a routine ready for the transition just yet Smile

It's fine to let her sleep past 7am. Like you said though, you might need to just tweak her mal's and feeds for the rest of the day Smile

Baby will change their entire routine themselves between now and the time you go back to work so I really wouldn't worry.

And IMO, unless medically necessary, don't wake a sleeping baby

ReeseWitherfork · 23/09/2021 20:45

Her wake-up times will change lots, suspect she'll have the odd 4.30am phase as a toddler so you'll be regretting ever waking her.

Thank you. Its only because she be going like 13 hours without milk and didn't think that was right.

😂 Oh I have had the 3am wake up. And 430am wake up and the 5am and 530ams. Even had being awake for 2 hours in the night. Been going on for ages. I'm sure I'm jinxing it but I have had 2 nights where she not woken until 7am 😬😬
