Sterilising Glass bottles

We have glass bottles and so far I’ve been boiling them, I don’t really want to use any other method of sterilising as I want to avoid the possibility of leaching plastics in a steam steriliser and the chemicals in chemical sterilising.

Only problem is the bottles properly clang together in the pan. The info that comes with them says to boil them so it must be okay, I just worry about how often we’ll have to replace them.

At present we only use them occasionally and if I need to do something without DS but I’ll be going back to work when he’s 6 months so he’ll need a lot of bottles for nursery!

If you used glass bottles how did you sterilise them?

Milton tab

Fill up the sink with water

Leave them so soak for the required time

Easy peasy

If you have a dishwasher, put them through on a hot cycle. That's as good as sterilising.
