Help! My 4 week old is constantly sick after feeds, grunts, strains, goes red in the face. Doctor has given omeprazole have been on it for a week and a half but hasn't made a difference? I dont know if it's also really bad wind he has? Any advice? He had tongue tie but that was snipped 3 weeks ago now. He seems to prefer it on his tummy than back.

What have you tried for the wind? Cycling their legs helps if its a fart.

We had reflux that only responded to high dose omperazole and dietary changes.

Around 4 weeks we were at peak "colic" or gastric discomfort as she hadn't quite figured out how digestion work. She was difficult to wind, we used infacol which seemed to help. We also tried gripe water but that caused projectile vomiting. We played around with different holds to help her shift the wind - my partner had success with the "magic hold" you tube it - you basically lie baby belly down on your forearm with their head near your elbow and the heel of you hand pressed against the belly to apply gentle pressure. I had more success with her lying on torso with her head on my boobs
