I always preferred Lansinoh, but I think tbh it's more of a personal thing... Lansinoh costs a bit more.

Don't forget breast crawl and biological nurturing; letting your baby find his/her own way to the breast often results in a better latch than you can get by following the old "nose to nipple etc." technique.

Lansinoh.

Not least because you don't have to wash it off.

andiemisletoe · 04/12/2007 10:40

lansinoh and I was a die hard kamillosan fan until i tried it
also buy some jelonet if they get cracked or very sore and put that on you can get it over the counter at boots whatever you do do not let them dry out it will delay healing
good luck

Thanks for the replies ladies, and Mossy i'm very impressed with Breast Crawl!!

OP posts:
Mossy · 04/12/2007 11:21

Leesmum you can do breast crawl or BN for about six weeks, doesn't have to be straight after the birth (as might not work in the case of a highly medicalised birth when baby has drugs in system). So if at first you don't succeed... but I'm sure you will!

Now, email me your address to msrlmoss @ hotmail . com (take out the spaces) and I'll put half a tube of Lansinoh in the post to you as I have some left over (you don't need very much).

leesmum · 04/12/2007 11:32

Mossy what a lovely thing to do

Are you sure you won't be needing it for next time!!

Did you try breast crawl, and is it as easy as it looks?

I shall e-mail you now

I didn't try breast crawl as I didn't find out about it until ds was too old. VeryLittleCarrot (another MNer) did and it worked, though!

Yes I will chuck it in the post tomorrow for you so you should have it by Thursday or Friday.
