Is three breastfeeds at 9 months enough?

My 9mo seems to have naturally reduced his feeds to 3 per day - morning, midday and evening. Sometimes the feeds are quite short. Is this enough for this age?

I think between 3&5 is normal. My 9mo is still having 5 so I'm jealous Grin

I know what you mean 🤣 in some ways it’s a relief because it’s a lot less pressure, but then I just worry he’s not getting enough nutrients. There’s no easy solution, is there!

It's fine. Mine was down to 2 - 3 and the health visitor wasn't concerned.

I know from expressing that I have a fast flow so I guess he was just getting what he needed

A healthy baby will know what he needs Smile assuming he's having 3 meals a day then trust him to know how much milk he needs.
I'm hoping to be down to 2 feeds when I go back to work in January - wish me luck!

Also jealous, mine feeds for comfort a lot. 3 feeds sound great, lots of babies go to nursery at that age so they don't get too much milk anyway. If they're not loosing weight I wouldn't be concerned at al
