I stopped bf three weeks ago, but started producing milk again

What the hell is going on?!
My right breast, is sore with hard patches and has started leaking a bit of milk again.

Any ideas?

A collegue I used to work with leaked intermittantly for 11 years after she finished feeding her twins think everyones body just takes its own time to sort itself out

sounds like you might have a blocked duct. Any red patches? You might have to express off for a few days to disperse the blockage.

Thanks Lyra41, I can't see any red patches, but my breast feels lumpy and sore underneath and round the side towards my armpit. I don't understand it though as my breasts had almost returned to normal.
I have expressed gently in the shower to ease the pain (and ensure I don't leak at an inconvenient moment)
