Beauty products and nipples

How careful are you about getting things on your nipples whilst breastfeeding? I am a clumsy oaf and just spilt a bottle of salicylic acid toner all over my boobs whilst using it on my face. I jumped straight in the shower and tried to wash it off (though mindful that I probably just washed the stuff on my face onto my nipples in the process), but how cautious do I need to be with getting products near my nipples, and should I wait before feeding again?

As long as you've washed it off, LO will be fine Smile

I don't accidentally get stuff on my boobs tbh.

I don't moisturise then or use nipple cream, just shower gel in the shower.
