Reflux / aptamil

EBF 8wk old DD. Tried to introduce formula for a daily feed so partner can help out or for when we’re out & about. We’ve bought the aptamil ready to go bottles of formula but each time we’ve used it DD gets reflux, really sick/unhappy/squirming and this then continues even for following BFs. Someone recommended stopping the formula to see if the reflux stayed so I did and she’s completely back to normal after a couple of days so seems it’s definitely the formula.
GP at 8wk check today said to try a different formula as it won’t be an allergy given I don’t cut anything out of my diet and she BFs well.
Can anyone recommend a different formula? Ideally would like a ready to go one as I’ve no experience with FF & not even sure how you prepare formula on the go! X

I'm not sure I agree with the GP about it not being an allergy if I'm honest. Your LO may be able to tolerate some Cow's Milk Protein in your BM but not tolerate the amount in a formula.

Having said that, there have been lots of posters whose LOs have had similar problems with Aptamil over the recent months.

I'd try Hipp Organic and if the reaction is the same explore the possibility that she may have CMPA.
