Recurrent milk blebs- HELP!

Hello ladies
I am in agony and would appreciate some advice. Combination fed DS has a bit of a questionable latch due to partially reattached TT. It's never caused me pain- it used to be excruciating before his TT was snipped but was fine after that. Now (DS is almost 1) I keep getting this recurrent milk bleb in my right nipple- it's like the skin grows over it. Every other day (sorry TMI) I pierce the top layer of skin and let some milk out and get a bit of relief...until the skin covers it up again and the pain starts again. It's now very painful to feed and I just don't know how to get rid of this bleb once and for all! When I pierce the skin, the whiteness of the bleb disappears for a while but once the skin closes up, there's a white patch on my nipple where the milk is trapped. I hope that makes sense! Please help!!!

Oh god you poor thing!! I had this happen when my son was near the end of feeding. I did exactly the same as you. Feeding was SO painful. I just kept doing it and eventually it disappeared but it was awful. I never got the satisfying pop that people talked about, no matter what I did!!

@Livefortherain thanks for your reply :) Yes same here...no satisfying pop- I feel like if I went deeper then maybe I would get the pop? But 1) I'm too scared to do that and 2) It would be bloody painful!
