I have a horrid cold .... is it ok to take lemsip capsules (containing paracetomol, decongestant, caffeine) when breastfeeding???

The problem is with the decongestant - you'd be better with just paracetamol and a sniff of vicks.

I think I read on here once that they have something in them that can affect your supply, is that right? Can someone shed light on that?

I took one once when I had a seriously horrible cold. Took it just after putting ds to bed so I knew I had plenty of time before feeding him again. But as frosty says, best sticking to the paracetamol.
