just switched to hipp organic - constipation?

Have just switched to Hipp Organic first milk, because 6 month old dd2 has started to have really runny poo, and horrendous stinky wind, that seemed to cause her quite a lot of pain. I wanted to try her with a formula without prebiotics to see if that was why. So moved from Aptamil to Hipp. Now she has really bad constipation, her poo is like pale clay, and it takes her a whole day to get one poo out, and it is causing her quite a lot of discomfort. I have only been using the Hipp for a couple of days, so am not sure whether to give it a bit longer (my dh thinks we should) or whether to go back to the stinky wind. Has anyone got any ideas?

try cow and gate omneo comfort follow-on formula - is the best thing I found for windy babies!

Hi, I know this is an old post but just wondering what you ended up doing? My two week old daughter has the same issue, we swapped from aptamil to hipp due to very loose runny nappies and wind but now she’s constipated and is in pain with it. Did you stick with hipp or did you change back?

Hello! Same issue with my 9 week old! What did you end up doing?

Quite an old thread - how did your baby do afterwards? Did it get any better?

We have the same issue. We moved from Aptamil to Hipp. And from runny poos we have moved to once every 1-2 days poo.
