Dropping bottle feeds

11-month-old DS is still drinking 4 x 7oz per day of formula, as well as 3 meals a day. He usually finishes his bottles.
I'm worried he is having too much formula for his age and we ought to reduce his feeds. Does this sound right? I'm very worried about him going hungry!

My DS was on 32oz a day til he was well over 18 months. My 11 month old is having 32 Oz a day, 3 meals and 2 snacks. I don’t worry about it - they know what they need, and both stayed on the 50th centile for weight. But if they started rapidly jumping up the centiles, then I’d ask my doctor.

Thanks so much, that's great to know. I'd definitely be keen to hear others' experiences too!

My little one was still having 4 9oz bottles until 16 months, and at 19 months still has 2 9oz bottles without fail. I did swap him to full fat cows milk at around 10 1/2 months as he had an intolerance to formula but he would still drink 4 bottles a day now if I let him. We are closely monitored under consultants due to a medical condition and they are on the lines of as long as he's happy and not jumping up centile lines on his chart he's fine doing what he's doing :)
