How did you stop breastfeeding?

How did you stop breastfeeding? Did you do it gradually or go cold turkey?

Any success with this?
My baby is 6 months and is not at all interested in a bottle, she will take a tiny amount or some formula from a sippy cup. She feeds to sleep and it’s torture trying to get the nipple out of her mouth as she sucks for comfort, won’t sleep without breast. She’s now eating solids, help!! All advice welcome

Hi all, my baby is 6 months and I am very ready to stop breast feeding. She feeds to sleep and isn’t keen on a bottle so it’s hard work. She is eating solids now so looking for advice how best to do this. I’m not the type of parent to let baby cry either so don’t want some hardcore cold turkey method. Help and tips much appreciated!
