12 months - stopping all formula and bottle sterilising

When a baby reaches a year old, do most people just stop giving formula the day after their birthday and also just stop sterilising from that date?

Have others done this more gradually so introducing cows milk slowly from 11 months maybe?

I started giving small amounts of cows milk from around 11 months and increased every few days, by the time DD was a year she was having purely cows milk. I also stopped sterilising they bottles once she had transitioned.

Gradual into suction for the cows milk over a week or two swapping out formulae for cows - just to monitor if there was going to be any allergic reaction

With sterilising - I'm stopping with my twins at 6 months and/or when they start weaning and teething - basically when they are constantly putting their hands (and other things!) in the mouths anyway

I done the switch on his birthday.
Just changed straight to cows milk, wouldn't take it cold so I warmed it up for him.
Also changed sterilising to once a week, it's not needed but I done this for couple months.

I didn't introduce cows milk for a long time after my son turned one. I used infant milk from birth until 6 months, follow on milk from 6 months to 1 year, then toddler milk from 1 year onwards.
I hate warm milk so I was happy to buy formula. I sterilised until I stopped using formula.

I replaced one bottle a day with cows milk until all DC's bottles were cows milk. Stopped sterilising at 6 months when DC crawled and everything went in their mouth!

I introduced from about 11 months half formula half cows milk and then when I ran out of formula stopped
