Just looking for some quick advice my formula fed baby is 2 weeks old and he has gone from 70-90mls every three hours last week to up to 120mls and only being satisfied with that for a couple of days now back down to 70-90mls again, has any one got any idea why he was drinking so much for a couple days and should I be worried that it's gone back down again is he not well? I'm worried he's now going to loose weight. He's satisfied with what he's getting now but I'm still confused.
He wasn't bringing it back up either so I guess that's how I know it wasn't too much for him? Is that right? He just was never satisfied unless it was almost 4oz, now I'm just worried he's not drinking as much or is it normal, someone said about cluster feeding?. As you can tell I'm a new mum so please be kind I'm very tired lol

Cluster feeding / growth spurt. I wouldn't worry, just follow your babies cues.

Perfectly normal for a two week old, it's the two week growth spurt. As long as he never there's always some left in the bottle after a feed, so that you know he's had enough, he'll be fine Smile
