Breastmilk in fridge

How long can I keep breastmilk in the fridge and how long at room temperature?

I thought it was 6 days in fridge and 6 hours at room temperature but when I googled to check, different websites had different advice.

I'm going out all day/night on Saturday and leaving breastfed 7 month old with DH. Want to know what day I can start pumping to leave milk for him. Dh planning to take the kids out for the day so he was asking me how long he can have the milk out of the fridge too.

I've always gone by the 6/6/6 rule.

If he needs to be out all day, he could carry the milk in a coolbag with ice packs to extend the time, or even freeze it beforehand and let it defrost slowly over the day.

Yeah I think he'll take a cool bag. He'll probably only be out for 6 hours tbh but it might be hot.
Now to try and figure out how much milk to leave! I'm going to pump mon/tue/wed/thu/fri nights and hopefully that will be enough milk for him.
