In the spirit of being eco friendly (and tight) anyone thing I can recycle my lansinoh milk freezer bags?

They cost £5 a pop so I'm thinking perfectly good plastic bag, give it a good clean, then reuse it.

Can I a) sterilise it in the micro steriliser or b) if I don't will it be totally detrimental to my (5mo) baby?

I thought about it but I really don't think they can be cleaned properly. It was a shame - I used about 500 of them!!

I switched to advent via cups/lids - found them more economical

why not wash them in hot soapy water, inside out?

I used Boots narrow necked feeding bottles. They are about £3 for 2. They also fit very snugly on the Ameda Lactaline so you can express straight into them.

I also have some glass bottles made by Lanisoh which are made especially for this purpose. they fit straight onto a Lactaline.

Not saltcod but hijacking - yes you can re-use the Avent cups. they recommend up to 5 times but really not sure why not for longer than that. They come pre-sterile (sort of 'stacked' so you can re-seal the bag, and I believe they also fit onto one of the avent bottle tops if you so wish.

I like them much better than bags as can stack in fridge and freezer, don't stick together when frozen etc..

They are great for freezing baby sized meal portions when you get to that stage too!
