Green poop, over supply

My baby is nearly 7 weeks and consistently been doing green poos for the last 2 weeks but otherwise seems okay, can be mucousy and frothy. Very worried.
I am bfing.
Could be an imbalance of my milk or cows milk protein allergy so have cut our dairy.
Have a heavy flow and over supply so doing block feeding but not seen any difference.
Any help or advice would be appreciated
Going mad googling....and praying before I open each nappy!! Worried something wrong with his GI system.

I had oversupply and mine had episodes of green poo but never any ill effects. It took a long time for my supply to settle down. Have you spoken to a HV or dr to see if they are concerned? And have you tried catching the letdown in a muslin to give him a bit less of the watery milk?

I had oversupply and some green poop. I was under the feeding team and they said green can be a normal colour, but to watch out for frothy and/or mucousy as that can be a sign of potential allergy. I'd suggest contacting hv or gp.

I've contacted HV and gp. Stool sample sent off.
Yeh I catch some excess but long term that's not ideal..it can be mucousy sometimes. Frothy too. How long did your supply take to go down and did you do anything to help or do different positions when feeding?

I think with my first child it was in the latter half of the first year, second it was probably a bit quicker. I suffered terribly with blocked ducts and mastitis, and my children were massive from being fed so much! It seems a good problem to have, to folk that worry about under supply, but it’s not easy either. Good that you are getting it all checked out but glad baby seems well.
