Changes in baby poo

Changes in baby pooSo sorry for the TMI over the last couple of days my boy has been having some very difficult tummy issues and his poo has been going greener and darker

He was on white water every now and again just to settle his tummy but it’s now got worse

As the only change is that the cow and gate formula has changed he’s been on it roughly 5 days and seems to be getting worse

I’m considering just taking him off it and putting him on a different brand or is it worth a trip to the doctors?

Baby poo does change colour over time but I can't remember what it's like ar 11 weeks. The NHS website will tell you more.

I'm not sure what you mean by white water? Why have you changed his formula?

Hello, I can't quite understand your post but if your DS has been on cow and gate the whole time, they have recently changed their formulas slightly, my DS's tubs have a little leaflet with them explaining this and they also say that changes in poo is normal. So this could be the reason for the change as your little boy is used to the old formula?
But if the cow and gate formula is new to his system then that could be why also. However if you're worried I'm sure your health visitor won't mind you querying it with them Smile

Mine had awful dark green almost playdoh like poo on c&g, hard for him to pass and just not right. we changed to hipp organic at about 3 months and it got a lot better. I'd personally say try a new brand if it's getting worse since they changed the formulation as it's obviously not agreeing with them.

I'm not sure what White Water is either but I agree with just changing the brand of formula that you're using.

Lots of posters in here seem to like Aldi's or Hipp Organic.
