Confusion over how much DD2 is drinking (bottle fed)

Sorry, this is probably an age-old question but I needed to ask...

When we make up a bottle, we obviously fill it up to the 5oz mark and then add 5 scoops of powder. This brings the total amount of fluid in the bottle up to about 5 and three quarter ounces.

If she drinks down to the 1oz mark, does that mean she has had 4ozs or nearly 5?

I'm a bit anal and I write down all her feeds as she has had various medical problems and I find it helpful to keep a track of it...

i used to ponder that too.

if you're keeping track just be consistent and you can also adjust later if you find out you were doing it the "wrong" way.
