Could bf in the night be making dd vomit?

Surely not I think. Dh is convinced that dd(9months, exbf on demand, blw, 9%ile, alert and happy) has being violently sick for the last 2 nights in the middle of the night because she gorges herself on bm at least 2/3 times a night. He thinks that I should not feed her when she wakes. I think she may have a bug though she has never been a sicky baby and has not been sick in the day. Any advice?

She might well have a bug - I would wait longer than 2 nights before deciding that the BF at night has to go. Has she got a cold? Phlegm always causes my DS to vomit at night.

I love the way your Dh thinks you should just not feed her when she wakes If only it were that easy...

No cold, I know as if I could just stop feeding at night! I would have done so long ago. He thinks it is habit, which may be true but I am too lazy to stop it.

Just to let you know that dd was diagnosed with measles today which explains a lot. She isn't eating much at all so thank goodness for night feeding!
