Does anyone know please? Ones more pricier than the other.

It will have some made up ingredients in it to make it sound fancier.

All infant formula is regulated and needs to have specific amounts of nutrients so if the added ingredients were essential they'd be in all infant formula

There's no benefit of either over other cheaper milks. This document by First Steps Nutrition who are an independant charity tells you about milks sold in the UK including these two <a class="break-all" href="https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.firststepsnutrition.org/s/Infant_formula_an_overview_Feb_2019_final.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwix06H4h97wAhWkunEKHfLjA6cQFjAAegQIBxAC&usg=AOvVaw2EKyOqNFmJfq42NuSr3YBZ" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.firststepsnutrition.org/s/Infant_formula_an_overview_Feb_2019_final.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwix06H4h97wAhWkunEKHfLjA6cQFjAAegQIBxAC&usg=AOvVaw2EKyOqNFmJfq42NuSr3YBZ

Quite. The second one will just be marketing ploy. All baby milk will provide complete nutrition for your baby. Please don't be fooled into buying a "premium" product!

From what I can tell the profutura doesn’t contain palm oil.

Thanks everyone for your replies! There’s also the other ‘specialist’ milks but not bother with those. They should really make it simpler or transparent.

Some of the specialist milks do have a place for certain babies such as comfort and reflux ones but ly if your baby needs them.

If you just need normal standard first formula go for whichever brand is easiest for you to purchase.

All you need to use is any stage 1 formula, until 1 year old. Then switch to full fat cows milk. (Or equivalent)

Any stage 2/3/follow-on etc.. Are marketing gimmicks and not needed. They are trying to make you buy their products as long as possible, and will happily try and sell their milk for your 3 yo!
