Breast pump from US

Hi,
Not sure where to post this but was wondering if anyone had bought an electric breastpump from the USA. I'm looking at a new Medela Swing for only £42 with £10 for postage making it much cheaper. It will come with a 2 pin plug on the adapter, would I be able to use a normal 2 pin to 3 pin plug adapter to use it? Anyone else done this with any problems/comments?

Thanks.

i havent but im wondering if the electric voltage will work here in the uk? most of the american electric appliance wont work here, unless you have a transformer that can be quite expensive sometimes.

up you will blow your boobs to smitherines if you plug it in without a voltage converter - us works on 110v we work on 240v

just buy the uk version- if you get one from us they will prob catch you for import tax @ about £30, voltage converter @15 plus the £50ish its cheaper to buy one from boots!
