DS is now 14 weeks and BF is still just as confusing to me - I thought your boobs settled down into a routine and produced enough to satisfy your baby - well this isn;t happening with me. I seem to go from having enough to nothing back to enough and back to nothing every few days. I am eating well getting rest and BF DS the whole time to try and encourage milk supply but just when it looks like he is getting enough and satisfied the next day he seems to be wanting to feed about every hour and not seeming to get very much at all - even if he sucks for ages. I have expressed on a day when I think he has got enough and get about 150 mls and have then expressed on a day when I don't think he seems satisfied (today) and only got about 40mls - He isn't putting on much weight each week either....What am I doing wrong here???
