Hi,

Please can someone help me diagnose this, baby is 2 months old, breastfed from birth, it itches but not overly, not really any pain but it seems to have a cut upper nipple where it joins. Hopefully you can see the picture.

Thanks for any replies 😭😭😭

I'd make an appointment with your gp, my nipples were bright red and burning after having thrush that just wouldn't go away. My doctor had to prescribe a steriod cream to help clear it, they may also want to check it is thrush or another skin infection/irritation x

Check baby's mouth too - a white coating would definitely suggest thrush and need to get it checked out
