i hired one for 8 months for free! are you in a SureStart area? if so, you might be able to do the same.

thanks all. Do you think it is worth getting a hospital grade one to build up a supply? I have a manual hand pump and a really basic electric one and am getting 5oz or so whenever I express - can just about manage once every couple of days - just thinking I might not be able to keep up with demand as the baby gets older and takes more per feed? At the moment 5 oz is enough. It is nothing critical, just for odd nights out and Daddy feeds, but I hate feeling pressurised to get them ready so thought I'd try and stockpile some.
