Hi!
Baby is 4 weeks old. Suddenly at two weeks old he started screaming in pain when trying to pass gas. Now takes ages to settle after a bottle and wakes up in the night trumping. He's in a lot of pain, it's awful.
I can't seem to get a straight answer with info online. Doctor said try coleif or infacol which don't seem to do much.
Has anyone had similar experiences? What should I do?
I know wind distress is common in babies, but this feels a bit too extreme to be normal gassiness.
He's screaming when windy, raising his legs up and going bright red, it's awful. Is this just normal colic, or some sort of reaction?
Is this lactose intolerance?

Update: forgot to mention he is bringing up milk after feeds which is a bit more like sick that the usual dribble.

Also, I changed his nappy the other day whilst he was pooing, and it was coming out a bit watery. It doesn’t look watery in the nappy, but I have no idea what consistency it should be whilst it’s coming out/at the end of a poo...! Sorry for tmi!
