Dream feed didn't work! <knackered>

Well, DH topped up with EBM in Tommee Tippee bottle - we used the medium flow teat since when I expressed the milk flew out of me.

DS3 had about 30mls and then gave up. Promptly woke up again at 1.15am - about 3 hours earlier than he has been doing when we didn't dreamfeed! He did sleep till 6.15 after that so can't complain too much.

His feeding pattern has been a bit off though with a cold so will wait till he's over the cold (as if! with two germ infested older brothers he's currently a week on, week off with the snuffles...) and try again

Sending sympathy Monkeybird. I think dreamfeeds work well for some babies, but with others, they seem to make them wake more! How old is your DS3?

He's 12 weeks so I'm not expecting too much. Would like him to get used to a bottle of EBM though so I can have the odd evening away from the sofa...

persevere, may take him a while to adapt to inclusion of feed. also - be open to trying diff bottles...i tried nuk, tommee tippee and finally doctor browns....which he guzzles feeds from.
