Success with formula for an EBF baby?

I have an EBF six month old that I'd like to introduce a daily bottle for just to make it easier when he starts childcare in a few months. Anyone else who has done this- which formula did you use and how'd you go about it?

How old will LO be when they start childcare? If they are old enough they might not need formula at all?

10 months. I think probably a little young to stop altogether.

I suppose I could express but it's such a faff to find time.

My first was a bottle refuser and I went back at 10 months. If you want to continue BFing you can feed on wake up, on pick up and before bed. They might wake in the night for a feed though.

My first took a bottle at 9 months but only after a lot of faffing and that was with someone else doing it, not me or DH
Second baby I wanted to give up breast feeding at 6 months but she refused, wouldn't wean either, had her last breast feed on her first birthday and never had any milk or formula from a bottle or cup
Learnt my lesson with the other three and introduced bottles much earlier

At 10 months I imagine they'd be fine with a feed in the morning, when you get in from work, bedtime and maybe an overnight if they're still getting up.
All first infant formulas are much the same so any would do. You could try a free flow cup instead of a bottle at 10 months.
