Mega burps or milk fountains: which teats/cups to go for?

DS2 is 6 months and has just started going to a childminder. I don't know much about bottle feeding so would appreciate some advice. DS2 has had bottles (of expressed BM)fairly regularly but the CM is finding that he has a very loose suck and is filling up with as much wind as milk. I tried him with a cup ( one of those with a spout that folds down) yesterday but the flow was just too fast and all the milk was splurting out as fast he was sucking it in. Can't bear that after all the effort of expressing!

Hi,

I sue a Doidy cup with my son - started at around 6 months. He got the hang of it really quickly. It's kind of on a slant so is easy for them to use. My son continues to BF and can't drink from a spout! I bought mine from www.babyzoop.co.uk - free postage!

Hope that helps

Yes either do a cup or get a Dr Brown's bottle - expensive but v effective - zero wind!

Ooh, thanks both. I like the look of Doidy cups and that site looks really good too. Will try both.
