Hey guys when do breasts stop leaking milk if you are breastfeeding?

Is it normal to still have leaking and engorged breasts at 11 weeks pp.

Everyone is different. I barely leaked after a few weeks whereas my sister in law leaked until she stopped at 18 months!

If you have any pain, hot patches, sore areas or you have a fever then you should speak with the GP as you may have mastitis.

Are you exclusively breastfeeding and feeding on demand? If so it should settle within the next week I'd think.
If you ever give bottles that can sometimes make your boobs a bit out of whack.

Although when you're feeding it's normal for your other boob to leak a bit. Also if your baby goes a long stretch at night you could often feel pretty full in the morning

When my baby started sleeping a bit longer and going without feeds for a slightly longer time, I was very leaky and engorged etc. And even when that settled down I needed breast pads for months and months.

Around 6 months for me

I'm 10 weeks in and still leak occasionally, and become engorged if baby feeds a bit less often than usual. I'm not sure if it's normal but I'm in the same boat!
