Starting breast after 2 weeks

Ff from birth but want to try bf as a comfort thing/night feed option.
Baby latches on the breast really well just unsure what to do to encourage production. Should I get a pump to use to stimulate supply? Which one? Would prefer something to go in my bra so can remain mobile rather than the big tubey machines.
How to go about starting combi feeding?
Any advice appreciated.
Ta!

Definitely phone one of the bf helplines to get good advice - there’s the national bf helpline, NCT feeding helpline and la leche league - google them for the numbers. The best thing to do is to put the baby to the breast as often as possible - literally every hour if you can. The baby will do a much better job than a pump at stimulating supply. Do loads of skin to skin. If you can stay in bed with the baby for a couple of days that would be idea - I know maybe not possible if you have other children! Good luck!

The reply before mine is good advice. You could put baby to breast literally before every feed and then give your baby their bottle afterwards using paced feeding so that baby only takes what he/she needs after the breast. This will boost your supply. This will also get combi feeding off to a good start.

If you would like a pump, Elvie pumps are hands free and get good reviews. Pricey though!
