Pumping? Expressing?

Just decided to do a little breastfeeding at night whilst mainly formula feeding in daytime (6day old baby)

How do I go about pumping/expressing?
Can I express and keep in a bottle for the nights? How long does it stay good, and should I put it in the fridge?

Any tips on what pump/equipment to get?
I would've researched all this properly had I not planned to exclusively formula feed!
I don't know where to start with it all now!
Thankyou!

Are you planning to feed directly from the breast too or only express? If the latter, an electric pump would probably be best for large amounts. Electric ones are all quite similar with how they work, so I would have a look and see if there are any offers on. I have tommee tippee and think it's pretty good.

You can store breast milk in the fridge for about a week. Or it can be at room temperature for about 6 hours.

You may need to be prepared to do a fair bit of pumping to get your supply up if you've not breastfed yet. Each day of pumping will put in the demand for the next day or two and you should see your supply creeping up x

6 hours out of the fridge
6 days in the fridge
6 months in the freezer

I've got a double medela that's brilliant but for ease with a toddler to look after I've just treated myself to an elvie wireless pump which isn't as efficient but I really can carry on with other stuff and pump so it'd be great for building up your supply. It's expensive though.
