being sick and bf

my toddler was sick in the night and i have just been sick, my 7 wk is bf roughly 2 hours in day and 3 hours at night. If i am not eating and just sipping water will this affect my milk supply that much. My toddler was only sick once in the night so am hoping this is a short bug so wont be ill much more.

hopefully not as you will draw on your own reserves. I know it's probably the last thing you feel like doing but try to feed her as usual - if not more than usual to keep up your supply......thats what I did when I had a bug anyway!

if you are ill your milk isn't normally affected much- i reccomend keeping feeding if your not too sick and CANT feed!! hope your better soon!!
