My DS is 11 weeks old and keeps being very sick. he is on 61/2 oz of SMA gold formula. he is some times sick after a feed which is fine (but can be alot) and is just milk. but he can be sick up to 21/2 hrs after a feed and it can some times smell. do i need to go to the doctors with him or is he ok and this is just normal. he can also throws up a watery substance with flecks of milk him. should i try and change his formula?

any help would be greatfully recieved

that sounds perfectly normal to me sallyoak, my son was breastfed but did the exact same thing with the throwing up, anytime of day mid-feed period or just before the next feed time....what does it smell like? sour cream starchy stale lingering sort of smell? if so thats perfectly normal....but if it smells like a rotting corpse then possibly not!!

the long-time-after-feed sick smells different and can be watery/lumpy because he's started digesting it - not a problem.
