Anyone managed to ditch formula top ups as baby needed less milk?

Just that really. Started weaning DS a month ago so obviously still needs quite a bit of milk...but I'm hoping I can eventually ditch the formula...it is just such a faff! Am I being realistic?

For context I needed to top up with formula as DS developed a feeding aversion due to reflux and I needed to ensure he was getting enough.

How old is Ds? Do you mean weaning onto solids? I managed to do this by replacing formula with solids, starting with baby rice / porridge made with formula, then purees etc. Carried on breastfeeding as normal and continued to bf to 15 months.

Transitioning from formula to solids was pretty easy looking back (minus the new mum stress of wondering if she's eating enough!). I just did baby led weaning with a bit of spoon feeding and gradually upped the amount of solids I was giving, which naturally brought the amount of formula she wanted down. I didn't bother mixing formula into any food, just used regular old milk and ensured what I was giving was healthy (balance of different foods and textures).
